Will I lose my EBA pay and conditions?

No. Enterprise agreements cover every employee at your workplace, member or not. Your pay and conditions stay the same.

What is NPAA?

NPAA is an association of nurses and midwives, part of NPAA Services' network. We represent members in workplace matters, disciplinary processes and enterprise bargaining and connect them to resources needed for practice such as affiliated CPD and Taxation services.

Will there be a gap in my cover?

No. Indemnity starts the day you join and covers incidents from before you joined. An issue already under way when you join is assessed individually.

Does the indemnity meet AHPRA requirements?

Yes. The $10 million Professional Indemnity meets the AHPRA registration standard for nurses and midwives.

How do I cancel my QNMU membership?

Email or write to QNMU and ask them to cancel your membership and stop payroll or direct debit deductions. Most providers require written notice.

Does NPAA take part in enterprise bargaining?

Yes. NPAA represents members in enterprise bargaining and workplace negotiations, and supports members through disputes with their employer.

Are fees tax deductible?
